About me

I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, entrepreneur, and professional trying to enjoy the last days of my 30's while going through what my good friend JM once described as a “life defining” moment.  I call it almost like having a mild nervous breakdown, however I am trying to make some sort of since out of all if this (read the blog and you will come to see what the “this” is that I’m talking about).  I would describe myself as a pretty cool person who is full of life and a joy to be around.  However keep in mind that I am going through this “life defining” moment so I may not be as full of life and a joy right now.  I am obsessed with Oprah (yes, she is my imaginary BFF), love watching the Real Housewives of OC, New York, and Atlanta, scrapbooking, taking pictures, traveling and spending time with people who mean the most to me (family and friends).  Oh and I love to entertain which is the reason I started my event planning company.

There are sooooo many things that I want to do that at times I start to feel overwhelmed simply thinking about them.  I am also a dreamer ~ and we all know that great things start as a dream.   Right now I am just living life...trying to find my purpose while making a little money and having a whole lot of fun,

This blog started off as an experiment, if you will to chronicle my journey towards the BIG 40 however things didn't go as I had planned.  So I am taking a new direction. I am going to share with you the last few weeks of my 30's and my journey through the first year as a woman who is proud to be in the 40/40 club.

In this blog I will share with you my thoughts...dreams...and experiences as I navigate through this thing we call life.  I may even share a joke or two.  So sit back…pour yourself a drink…munch on some popcorn and enjoy the show.  Oh and feel free to leave a comment...let's talk...share...laugh...and cry together.
